- Refers to a forthcoming meeting with Roger Sharrock; acceptance of five of his poems by Hamblett (Charles Hamblett); and the possibility of one of his poems appearing in an anthology by Lehmann (John Lehmann) called 'Z', with comments on the poem 'Story' (CP, p.257). Refers to his changed style of writing with reference to Dylan Thomas; Kingsley Amis; and 'The Orators' by Auden. (8pp). Letter contains a rough illustration of a character of Kingsley Amis'; and an illustration of Larkin as an `Oxford Poet 1941' and a `Nation - wide Poet 1942', looking exactly the same in both.
