Discusses or refers to Jung; abandoning the writing of 'The Trumpet' (short story); Christopher Isherwood's novel 'Mr Norris' ('Mr. Norris Changes Trains'?); Sutton's dealings with Victor Gollancz; going for the Civil Service examination; and women, particularly those Larkin met in Oxford. (12pp). The letter is interspersed with illustrations of Larkin failing to get a copy of Isherwood's `Mr. Norris'; one of Victor Gollancz; one entitled `A Room of One's Own' depicting Larkin looking at what appears to be a Rent notice; and one entitled `Men Playing Jazz'.
