Mainly relating 2 episodes at home (one of which is a discussion on Germany between Larkin and his sister Kitty), and also what he did whilst on holiday in Jersey. A few extracts from the novel Larkin is writing, called 'Present Laughter' (the novel was never finished), are typed out for Sutton. Also refers to mutual friends. (10pp.)
