- File contains correspondence and invoices relating to Haven flats, purchased by Platts-Mills in 1972 as an investment for retirement. A loan was granted to Platts-Mills from Hornbeam Farm Limited which the family controlled, and this money was used to pay some of the mortgage on Haven Flats. Correspondence relates to a mortgage taken out with Lombard North Central Limited, damage at Pembroke Dock Ferry Terminal, use of the flats by the South Pembrokeshire District Council, termination of tenancy of Len Cook. Also included is a statement concerning the financing of the purchase of the property prepared by Platts-Mills for tax purposes in 1983.
