Play by Alan Plater, about the North East Collier's strike in Jarrow 1832, specifically the events surrounding the trial and execution of William Jobling, the last person to be hung on a gibbet in England. Contains an outline by Alan Plater (7 Sep 1994) with extracts from sequence three, of the dialogue version and the sung version, including lyrics for one song, and booklets about Jarrow, Jarrow Slake and Ken Stewart, published by the Bede Gallery, Jarrow (1988-1994).
