- BBC Television scripts by Alan Plater. Softly Softly was developed as a spin-off from Z-Cars and followed CID officers based in the fictional area of Wyvern, near Bristol. Contains rehearsal scripts for the episodes 'A piece of waste ground' (first broadcast Apr 1967) and 'The same the whole world over' (first broadcast Mar 1967).
