- BBC Television scripts by Alan Plater. Softly Softly was developed as a spin-off from Z-Cars and followed CID officers based in the fictional area of Wyvern, near Bristol. Contains a copy typescript for the episode 'A day's work' (first broadcast Oct 1974) and a rehearsal script for the episode 'Without favour' (first broadcast Oct 1970).
