Central Television scripts by Alan Plater, who created and edited the series, and wrote Episode one. The programme is a drama focusing on a night-club owner obsessed by the film Casablanca and its central character, Rick Blaine. First broadcast in June 1989. Contains a copy typescript by Alan Plater for 'After hours at birdland', a list of viewing figures for 'Tales of Sherwood Forest' and correspondence with Tony Topham (University of Hull) and other papers regarding industrial relations (Dec 1985).
