- Film for television adapted by Alan Plater from Lovat Dickson's novel 'The Wilderness Man' about the English-Canadian conservationist 'Grey Owl' who claimed to be a Native American. Contains a typed journal by Alan Plater entitled 'An Account of a Trip Around Northern Ontario 6-15 May 1980'; photocopies of newspaper articles relating to Grey Owl's death and the discovery that he was English; typed 'Summary of script discussion in London' (10 Dec 1980); various booklets, leaflets and flyers relating to the Ontario area of Canada, and colour photographs taken by [Alan Plater] during his holiday to Ontario.
