- Play by Anthony Minghella about two low-level seaside entertainers Lionel and Rita Jessop who were child stars in the radio series 'Child's Play' and the stories they tell to try to come to terms with the memories of their fame. First performed at the Humberside Theatre, Hull, in 1978 it toured Lincolnshire and Humberside for four weeks. It received the Arts Council New Play Award in 1979.
