- This book contains no date but appears to follow on from U DX326/1. On the first page it states that Bride Hodgson is twelve years old. It begins with the last subject from the previous book, "Land Surveying" and describes the rest of the information as "Miscellaneous Questions" in which there are various problems and calculations regarding scenarios such as the measuring of land or timber. The books also contains carefully painted examples of various shapes along with relevant calculations. One problem uses an address which could be the authors' [father] "Mr Hodgsons, Coats Close, Ottringham." On the last page of the book there is a rudimentary map showing continents and oceans.
