Notes relating to a case brought by the Attorney General against the Mayor and Burgess of Hull concerning the maintenance of the castle and blockhouses at Hull given to the custody of the Mayor and Burgesses by Edward VI in 1552. Note that part of the document refers to the west quarter of the castle being 54 feet square and the blockhouse being 48 feet wide by 40 feet long.
