Description:

1. Sir John Lister, Alderman of Hull on behalf of the Mayor and Burgesses of Hull, and

2. Joshua Galliard, John Bladworth, Gilbert Morewood, George Stringer, George Tailor, Citizens of London, for themselves, and

3. Anthony Morewood and Francis Stringer, Citizens of London;

Agreement made in the presence of Wm. Popple, weighmaster, and Wm. Kirk, both burgesses of Hull.

Recital: Disputes have arisen between their London merchants claiming their rights to exemption from tolls and Hull claiming its right to levies on lead passing through the port.

Agreement: The merchants to pay 18d per fodder on all their York and Derbyshire lead passing through Hull, whether landed or not for carnage, porterage, houseroom, striking, boat hire and to pay 2/- for any lead they bring through for others.
