Prisoner: Georges Morrison
Offence: Falsely pretending to one Joseph Harrison Balls the agent of Leith and Paterson Ltd. that he was a General Dealer and then intended and was about to carry on the business of a general dealer at 31 Porter Street, Hull and required cloth for the purposes of such business that he was in a position to pay for the cloth and further that he on the 20th day of the month did falsely pretend to the said Leith and Paterson Ltd. a certain paper writing then presented by him was a good and valid order for the paper of a sum of £3 10s by means whereof he unlawfully obtained on the 26th of the same month 43 yards of black vicingna cloth and 30 yards of blue vicingna cloth and 45 yards of gray housing [a covering] with intent to defraud. 2nd count. Incurring a debt as liability to the amount of £7 17s 2d with intent to cheat
