Gibson, Bishop and Co., fruit importers were first listed in the trade directory in 1897 at 10 1/2 Humber Dock Street, later just called Humber Street and the heart of Hull's Fruit Market. In 1924 the business was incorporated. With the proposed development of the Humber Street area, along with other businesses, Gibson Bishop & Co. moved to Priory Park in 2009. 2015 saw the business dissolved.
