Description:

This painting measures 36 x 30 inches and is by H. Crawforth. Visible is the main paint factory which was completely rebuilt after extensive war damage. Behind it, but not visible, are the varnish and distemper factories, offices, laboratory, and other buildings on the 19 acre site. It includes 'the men with plank' logo on the far right of the building and the building on the far left is the surviving varnish factory. This picture was used in some post war advertising for the company.
