As the corporation became more involved with the Grammar School at various stages, then references can be found under the records of Hull City Council and its predecessors. For example at C BRK/1 are early administration records of the school whilst at C BRF/6 are receipts for money paid by the Corporation of Hull relating to the Grammar School. There are also references within the Hull Corporation Bench Books (C BRB). Many of these have been transcribed and these can be found at U DX28. In addition at U DX169/28 are extracts specifically relating to the Grammar School from the period 1575-1647. Some records have been listed within Stanewell's Calendar of Documents as well. On open access in the searchroom are the minutes of the Council's Grammar School Committee.
