Letter to Richard Terry from John Thornton. Dealing with Watson's complex will. Mentions writing to Sir H. Hoghton and Henry Lutwidge about Watson's land. Also reports of capture of the 'Sally' the day before. (Sir Henry Hoghton 1728–1795 was a British politician who sat in the House of Commons for 25 years from 1768 to 1795. He tried to obtain relief for Protestant Dissenters who were disadvantaged by the Test and Corporation Acts.)
