This edition includes a tribute to Daniel Sykes by his relative Rev. H. Venn. Also a damning piece about Alderman Terry by James Acland. Mr Acland seems perturbed by the fact that the School at Newland was demolished in Mar 1826 and no new building has emerged in its place.
