Admin History:

Thomas William Findlay was born in Scotland in 1876 and joined the Highland Light Infantry aged 18. He served in South Africa with the 16th Battalion between 1899-1902 (Boer War). He would go on to serve in the King's Guard at Ballater in 1908 as well as the First World War. He married Ethal Mowatt in 1946 and died in 1951 in Jersey.
