Kenneth Cyril Brown (1920-2006) was born in Hull and went to Sir Henry Cooper School, which at that time was on Bean Street. He would later serve in the RAF, joining maintenance units, becoming a Leading Aircraftsman and eventually a Flight Lieutenant. RAF 41 Group was a Maintenance Unit responsible for the supply and allocation of aircraft. 127 Maintenance Unit was officially raised in 1943 and disbanded in 1954. It was based in Zubair, or officially, Az Zubayr a town in southern Iraq. Kenneth's brother was Leslie Brown.
