Records of Stephen Charles Gay, trawlerman and a design for the Hull Lost Trawlermans Memorial

Admin History:: Stephen Charles Gray (1872-1940) of Hull, was a fisherman and trawlerman and rose to the position of skipper. He also served in the Royal Naval Reserve during World War One. Stephen Addison Fletcher submitted an entry for the St Andrew's Dock Heritage Action Group (STAND) competition to design a memorial area for the lost trawlermen of Hull.
