Admin History:

The Southcoates Afternoon Townswomens Guild was founded in 1935 just 6 years after the first guild in Britain had been formed and was one of many guilds in the city. It joined the National Union of Townswomen's Guilds and was involved in and organised a wide range of events, meetings and competitions. It was wound up in the mid 1990s.
