This notebook contains a large section of research notes on St. Mary's, Lowgate as well as East Riding Churches and the will of John Constable of Halsham. There are also notes on East Riding ministers at the time of the English Civil War. It is clear from the notes that a great deal of his research was carried out at the East Riding Archive Service in Beverley and at the Borthwick Institute in York
