Admin History:

Harold Walter Hocken (1866-1933) was born in Hull and after an apprenticeship at Priestmans, he went to sea for 12 years, where he would serve as an engineer on the 'Ann Millicent'. Hocken would later be admitted to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and became a manager at the council’s Madeley Street Baths.
