- Admin History:
- The King George Dock, originally named the Hull Joint Dock, was opened in 1914. The Norstar was built in 1974 and operated by North Sea Ferries on the Hull-Rotterdam route between its launch and 1987, when it transferred to the Hull-Zeebrugge route. It was acquired by an Italian company in 2001 and broken up in 2010. These images were taken by Karl Heinz Knuvt, who died in March 2017.
