Admin History:

In 1957 Kelvin Hall and Wyke Hall, Bricknell High Schools were housed in one building on Grammar School Road. In 1959 a new school was built that fronted Bricknell Avenue which became Kelvin Hall's new premises. The two schools progressed in active partnership and cooperation for some years until Hull implemented its Comprehensive Education system. Wyke Hall then became Wyke Junior High School catering for children aged 9-13. Kelvin Hall catered for children aged 13-18.

In 1988 Wyke Junior High School became a 6th form college (Wyke Sixth Form College) and Kelvin Hall became a secondary school for children aged 11-16.
