Organisations asked to loan money towards 'the Architect's fees' had done so excepting B.B.Y.O. who reported no funds and the Judeans who loaned £50 rather than £100; Absence of Communal Rabbi as editor of the Watchman and intention that future scope to include personal news and views, general comment on world affairs, society news, religion, dates of forthcoming festivals, also subscription increase to £390, credit balance of £75, 300 paying subscribers, 600 copies circulated per issue; Close co-operation with 'all Welfare Services' in relation to 'Old People's Welfare' whose organising secretary is noted as Mrs Rhoda Rose; Information required as regards 'local operations of the Empire Loyalists'; Refunding of all donations to the Youth Centre Appeal and proposal by Mr M. Furman supported by Mr J. Lennard 'That a committee be formed to build a communal Centre'; Resignation of Mr R. Field as Honorary Treasurer of the Watchman; Death of late past president Harry Rosen; Centenary Celebrations of the United Synagogues in London attended by the Queen and Prince Philip.
