- Contains records relating to the Benno Pearlman B'nai B'rith Lodge No. 1200, Hull, inaugurated in Hull on 16 Feb 1935, and opened by its first President Alderman Benno Pearlman, after whom the lodge was named. The Hull lodge was the 18th to be opened in Great Britain, the first having been opened in London 22 years earlier. Founding members were Benno Pearlman, I.J. Levy, N. Goldstone, D.L. Jacobs, Philip Bloom, M.D. Gaster, B. Goldstone, D. Hirsch, J. Lewenstein, L. Rosen, L. Rapstone, M. Wolff, S.M. Bass, Percy Bloom, J. Brazil, J. Crawford, P. Goldstone, S. Goldrein, H.M. Goldstein, Rev A. Krushevsky, S. Levinson, A. Lavine, Israel Levy, M. Maizels, W. Miller, A. Myers, D.M. Rosen, H. Rosen, J. Rosen, A. Schottlander, and F. Zerny. Members were known to each other as 'brothers' and were nominated and appointed to membership at installation ceremonies.
