Correspondence file of the 1968 Bazaar Committee responsible for organising the 'Blue and White Bazaar' held 21 Nov 1968 in aid of the Jewish National Fund. The Committee was formed in response to an appeal by the Chairman of the Jewish National Fund of Great Britain and Ireland that a Combined Aid Committee for Israel be formed in Hull. The Committee's inaugural meeting was held 29 Jan 1968 with Sam Lang as Chairman of the Jewish National Fund of Great Britain and Ireland in the chair. The Committee was composed of the following members: Mrs Leah Rosen and Mrs H. Bentley, Co-Chairmen; Mr Sam Lang and Mr Clive Levy, Co-Vice-Chairmen; Mrs S.
