File contains correspondence and papers relating to appeals to various charitable organisations organised by the Buildings and Maintenance Committee, with Conrad Segelman as Chairman, in order to raise funds for the rebuilding and modernisation of the Home for the Aged, or Flatlets, on Anlaby Road. Separate appeals appear to have been held in both 1995 and 1997. Charitable organisations include the Truemark Trust, John P. Woolfe Trust, Clore Foundation, G.S. Plaut Charitable Trust, George Balint Charitable Trust, Joseph and Annie Cattle Trust, Hull and East Riding Charitable Trust, Veronique Charitable Trust, Manny Cyssins Foundation, Sylvia and Colin Shepherd Charitable Trust. Also some correspondence with VA Architecture relating to the building work to be carried out. Typescript and manuscript.
