Contemporary copy of last will and testament of Mr Bernard Scott of Kingston upon Hull, Chirwigeon, appointing his wife Eliza Scott as sole Executor, and devising his estate as follows:

1. Dwelling house in Myton Gate, Hull, with all hereditaments and appurtenances, to his son Bernard Scott, profits of which to be given to executor until his son shall attain 22 years of age;

2. House in Myton Gate, with all hereditaments and appurtenances, purchased from Sidney Constable, and the little stable in High Street to executor to be sold after his death to pay £20, being the filial portion belonging to his daughter Elizabeth deceased;

3. House in Whitefryers Gate, occupied by John Allen and Mr Codd, with all hereditaments and appurtenances, to his wife Eliza during her life, to be given then to his daughter Anna and her heirs;

4. House occupied by Joseph Harrison and George Belsin to his wife during her life, to be given then to his son Bernard Scott and his heirs;

5. Messuage or tenement being corner house between the market place and Scale Lane, Hull, lately occupied by his son William Scott deceased, to his grandchild Mary Scott, daughter of William Scott, upon death of his daughter Lucy Scott, with proviso that if she dies without issue the property reverts to Bernard Scott's heirs;

6. £100 to aforesaid daughter Anna upon attaining 21 years of age or marriage;

7. Whole estate remaining unsold or disposed upon death of his children Barnard and Anna to pass to his nephew Mr John Scott and his heirs;

8. Remaining goods, chattels, rights, and credits, after payment of debts, legacies, and funeral costs, to his wife Eliza Scott

Original was stamped, sealed, delivered, and declared by testator in presence of following witnesses: Cornelious [?], Hugh Stringer, Benjamin Graves.
