- Photocopy of an article appearing in the Hull Daily Mail reporting on a Civic Service held at the Western Synagogue by invite of the Mayor of Hull Alderman Feldman, also the vice-president of the synagogue. Service involved attendance of both Jewish and non-Jewish members of Hull, and included a procession from the Anlaby Road Workhouse to the synagogue building led by the Police band.
