- Short article relating to the opening of the new Reform synagogue at Willerby, which opening was marked with a service led by Rabbi Rodney Mariner the National Convener of the Jewish Reform Synagogue. Reference is made to the following: Hull Reform community previously having to hold services at members houses; This being the first new synagogue building in Hull since before WWI; Expansion of the Reform congregation in Hull from 5 to 75 families since the 1960s; Orthodox Jewish community numbering 250 families.
