This book was once in the Hull Subscription Library but was bought by Mr. James Starkey (pictured), Fine Art Dealer, Beverley, after the library auctioned all its books and closed down in 1975. The book was first acquired by the library in 1836 and lists the Mayors, Sheriffs and Wardens of Hull from 1598-1984
