Description:

Registers of shipping 1804-1994; transaction books 1852-1893, declaration books 1838-1845, fishing registers 1869-1988, shipping transfer registers 1885-1985 and a register of the appropriation of Official Numbers for the Ports of Hull, Goole, Grimsby and Scarborough 1979-1994. Registers relating to Bridlington and Gainsborough were transferred in 1980 to the East Riding Archives Service and Lincolnshire Archives respectively. The registers remain in this list (C DPC/1/41-46) and their new references are noted for information.
