A published chart showing soundings (in feet) taken by the Humber Conservancy Board; seamarks and land based beacons are highlighted on the map. The chart also includes an inset diagram (scale half and inch to 1 statute mile) shewing buoyage and ships course from the North Sea to Killingholme, and an inset chart showing the entrance to the Port of Grimsby. It also includes a diagram detailing the Humber Conservancy's system of lighting floating marks, and its system for marking wrecks. The Hull Docks, along with the Dock at Immingham can also be seen on the chart.
