Description:

A register of staff employed by the Humber Conservancy Board. Each entry provides an individual's date of birth, the capacity in which they are employed by the Board, the date they commenced service, any references to the employee in the Board's minutes, their salary, and any bonuses issued. Any changes to their job role are noted (e.g. promotions or transfers to other parts of the service), and any changes to their salary. If an individuals employment ended while this was the active register, the reason behind their departure from the Board is typically noted.

In addition to staff, the volume also records details of the widows of former officials of the Board that have been awarded a pension from the Board. These entries can be found on pages 238-239. Each entry records an individual's status, their date of birth, and their pension. Entries for former members of staff in receipt of a pension from the Board can be found on pages 240-244. Each entry records their former capacity in which they served the Board, their date of birth, their date of retirement, their pension, minute references, and any further remarks.

In addition to the main run of staff entries, a supplementary set of staff entries follows on from the pensioners entries towards the back of the volume: see pages 246-249.

While the start date of the volume is given as 1919. It also contains information transcribed from the previous Establishment Book: C DPD/1/3/3/10/1.

An index to the volume listing both an individual's position in the service, and the page upon which their entry can be found is located at the front of the volume.
