Description:

A register of staff employed by the Humber Conservancy Board. Each entry records the capacity in which an individual served the Board, the date of any promotion or transfer (when applicable), their date of birth, their date of entry into the service, their date of departure or retirement, minute book references, their salary, any bonuses issued, their total remuneration per week or per month, and any further remarks. If an individuals employment ended while this was the active register, the reason behind their departure from the Board is typically noted.

The register also contains the details of individuals in receipt of a pension from the Humber Conservancy Board; these individuals fall into two categories. One is widows of former officials of the Board (folios 280-281 and 290). Each entry records an individuals status, the date of the commencement of their pension, minute book references, their pension, their total remuneration per week or per month, and any further remarks. The second category is former officials and employees (pages 282-288). Each entry records the former capacity in which they served the Board, their date of birth, the date of their retirement, minute book references, their pension, their total remuneration per week or per month, and any further remarks.

An index to the volume listing both an individual's position in the service, and the folio upon which their entry can be found is located at the front of the volume.
