Description:: File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the engineer’s office, North Eastern Railway, Hull, and the chairman of the sub-committee for the proposed training wall for the Joint Dock (King George Dock) from opposite Marfleet (Hull) to Paull. Includes several proposed designs (with estimates) for this wall, as well as correspondence regarding the financial and practical merits for each scheme. The final scheme was required to be put before Parliament in order to proceed.
