- File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, and the Aire and Calder Navigation, Leeds, regarding the Trent Falls Improvement Act 1926, includes a copy of the Act within the file. There appears to be problems in navigating vessels into the River Trent, from the River Humber, because of the training wall at the mouth of the River Trent. Part of the improvements include an unattended wireless controlled fog signal at Faxfleet Ness (including tests on its volume), and also improved lighting on the training walls, etc. Also includes a sketch plan of the proposed works.
