File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, Chairman of the Misterton Lighting Company, the River Trent Catchment Board, Nottingham, and various other companies, regarding works throughout the River Trent. These include problems with the street lighting at Stockwith on the River Trent, foundations extension to the Whitton Mill, Gainsborough, a proposed half-tide wall at East Stockwith and also Messingham, problems with river bank erosion at West Stockwith, a proposed wharf at Flixborough, proposed overhead power lines across the River Trent near Keadby Bridge, proposed lighting scheme at Lysaght’s Jetty, Flixborough Stather, proposed new pumping machinery for drainage water at Keadby, proposed telegraph cable crossing at Burringham, etc.
