- The file comprises correspondence, sent by the Engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board (Arthur Ernest Butterfield), to various contractors regarding a proposed new jetty at Saltend and also proposed maintenance painting of the Salt End and Thorngumbald lights. It includes specifications for these proposed works. It also includes the following: 'Equipment Requirements' (Form A), 'Equipment Received' (Form C) for the Saltend Lights, and a Humber Conservancy notices to mariners issued by the Secretary (Alfred William Franklin) to the various companies using the Humber Estuary on the subject of the re-positioning of the Salt End Low Lighthouse.
