A package (divided into 4 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 12: property in the eastern side of Aire Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1830–1879)

1. Lease for 99 years (27 September 1830): Sir John Lowther and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to James Watkinson. It includes an inset plan showing the property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

2. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (27 September 1830): Sir John Lowther and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to James Watkinson. It includes an inset plan showing the property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by James Watkinson.

3. Assignment of Lease by Mortgage for securing £400 and interest (3 August 1832): James Watkinson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Moiser. The Deed has been signed and sealed by James Watkinson, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

4. Assignment of Leasehold, with trusts to sell for securing £250 and interest (3 August 1832): James Watkinson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Jonathan Brown Hasselby and his Mortgagee. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

Assignment of Equity of Redemption in Leasehold (26 February 1836): James Watkinson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Robert Plummer Weddall and William Weddall. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, John Dunning, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

6. Assignment of Equity of Redemption in Leasehold (31 March 1837): James Watkinson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Watkinson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

7. Assignment of Mortgages of Leaseholds (2 November 1844): Mrs Charlotte Watkinson (and her Mortgagees) to William Standering. The Deed has been signed and sealed the aforementioned parties, Robert Kettlewell, John Pearson, William Weddall, Capel Adey, Reverend Richard Bond, John Dunning, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

8. Assignment of Leasehold (25 November 1845): Wells Hood (Executor of the Will of William Scholfield, deceased, acting with the consent of Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Jonathan Brown Hasselby. The Deed has been signed by Wells Hood, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

9. Settlement of Leasehold (14 December 1847): Charlotte Watkinson to William Eden Cass. The deed has been signed by the aforementioned parties, and Thomas Fox.

Assignment of Leasehold (24 May 1878) by endorsement: William Eden Cass to John Daniel Watkinson. The endorsement has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

10. Appointment (5 May 1859) by Charlotte Fox executing Marriage Settlement of 14 December 1847. It has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Mrs Fox.

11. Assignment of Leasehold, subject to payment of annuity to Ann Howdall Hasselby (29 October 1864): Robert Bromley (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Thomas John Hasselby and Edward Howdall Hasselby. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

12. Surrender of Leasehold (2 June 1879): John David Watkinson to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by David Watkinson, George Burton, John Burton, William Standering, and William Aldam on behalf of the Navigation.

13. Surrender of Leasehold (3 June 1879): Thomas John Hasselby and others to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by Thomas John Hasselby, Edward Howdall Hasselby, Ann Howdall Hasselby, and William Aldam on behalf of the Navigation.
