A package (divided into 4 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 35: two properties situate in Bridge Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1839–1889):

1. Lease for 99 years (30 December 1839): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Atkinson. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Sir John Lowther, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

2.Counterpart of a Lease for 99 years (30 December 1839): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Atkinson. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. License to Assign Leasehold (15 September 1840): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Atkinson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, Thomas Turner, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Sir John Lowther, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

4. Assignment of Leasehold (16 September 1840): John Atkinson to Thomas Turner. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

5. Mortgage of Leasehold (31 July 1841) for securing £650: John Atkinson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Charlotte Atkinson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Richard Thomas, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

6. Assignment of Furniture in Leasehold (15 October 1842): the Sheriff of Yorkshire to John Banks. The Deed has been signed and sealed by William St Quintin, aforementioned Sheriff.

7. Assignment of Mortgage (7 October 1844): Thomas Turner (by direction of Richard Thomas with the license of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Thomas Standering. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, John Banks, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

8. Transfer of Mortgage (3 May 1852) for securing £931.15.3: William Standering to John Banks. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

9. Assignment of Leasehold (30 November 1880): William Banks (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Henry Freear Ward. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

10. Assignment of Leasehold (30 November 1880): William Banks (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Edward Wilson Thompson. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Henry Feear Ward, and and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

11. Assignment of Leasehold (25 February 1887): Edward Wilson Thompson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Hackforth. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

12. Surrender of Leasehold (24 June 1889): John Hackforth to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope on behalf of the Navigation.
