A package (divided into 3 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 44: 2–6 Bridge Street (Even Numbers) and 1–7 Capstan Street (Odd Numbers) in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

[Part 1]

Deeds (1841–1927):

1. Lease for 99 years (2 August 1841): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Naylor. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Aire and Calder Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and Sir John Lowther.

2. Assignment of Leasehold (13 August 1842): John Naylor to Ann Wilson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned John Naylor.

3. Reassignment of Leasehold (8 June 1844): Ann Wilson to John Naylor. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

4. Mortgage by way of Underlease (13 June 1844) for securing 15 shares: John Naylor to the Trustees of the Hull Union Building Society. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, Bishop Barnby, Robert Peach, and William White.

5. Assignment of Leasehold (13 April 1847): John Naylor to Thomas Duckels. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

6. Assignment of Leasehold (12 March 1851): John Naylor (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Thomas Duckels. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

7. Copy of Appointment of New Trustees of Leasehold (5 January 1927): Louisa Elton Wilson to Gertrude Knott and others.
