A package (divided into 4 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 69: Property situate on the south side of Albert Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1841–1885):

1. Lease for 99 years (2 August 1841): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to William Milthorp Maude. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Sir John Lowther, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

2. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (2 August 1841): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to William Milthorp Maude. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. Surrender of Leasehold (3 August 1850): William Milthorp Maude to Sir William Mordaunt Milner and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

4. Lease for 99 years (5 August 1850): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Arthur Maude. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, William Milthorp Maude, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, William Mordaunt Edward Milner, and John George Smyth.

5. Counterpart Lease for 99 years (5 August 1850): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Arthur Maude. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and William Milthorp Maude.

6. Draft Consent to a Lease being granted to Arthur Maude (1854): the Assignees of Thomas Goodworth Jackson (Bankrupt) to the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation.

7. Mortgage of Leasehold (4 December 1860) for securing £8000: the Executors of Arthur Maude, deceased, to William Milthorp Maude. The Deed has been signed and sealed by Martha Matilda Maude and William Milthorp Maude.

8. Assignment of Leasehold (23 December 1874): Messrs Maude and Bulmer and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to James Milnthorp. The Deed has been signed and sealed by Elizabeth Maude Maude, John Bulmer, Martha Matilda Maude, William Cassell Maude, James Milthorp, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

9. Mortgage of Leasehold (8 January 1875) to secure £5000: James Milnthorp to William Stewart. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned James Milnthorp.

AND by endorsement—Further Charge (10 December 1875) to secure £2000: James Milnthorp to William Stewart. The endorsement has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned James Milnthorp.

10. Surrender of Leasehold (30 April 1885): James Milnthorp and his mortgagee to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by James Milnthorp, William Stewart, and Francis Darwin on behalf of the Navigation.
