A package (divided into 2 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 162: Property at the Junction of Aire Street and Calder Street situate in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1882–1908):

1. Lease for 99 years (16 August 1882): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to George Gleadow. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Andrew Montagu, William Aldam, Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope, and Francis Darwin.

2. Countepart of Lease for 99 years (16 August 1882): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to George Gleadow. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. Surrender of Leasehold (11 January 1886): George Gleadow to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee and Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope on behalf of the Navigation.

4. Assignment of Leasehold (6 June 1901): George Gleadow to the York City and County Banking Company Limited. It has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

5. Surrender of Leasehold (31 October 1908): the York City and County Banking Company Limited to the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the York City and County Banking Company Limited.
