A memorandum (with covering letter) of a meeting held on 28 January 1896 at Hunt's Bank, Manchester, between representatives of the ACN and the LYR. The following topics are covered: the price of water used for hydraulic power; additional coal tipping accommodation at Goole; the covering of railway lines adjoining the Co-operative Society's warehouse at Aldam Dock; an application from Messrs France and Company for the enlargement of the shed and stage adjoining their loading berths; the use of ACN railway sidings and road adjoining Ship Dock by the LYR; payment for the site of a crane in Old Hamburg Shed; a proposed additional Customs Shed at Goole; and leases of land at Goole.
