Memoranda by Skipper. On Tuesday November 21st 1893 North Sea. We sighted a derelict barque, & a steam trawler in the act boarding her named Edward Robson of Hull. We asked him if he required assistance , he replied he did not know, so I helped to get the boat out & sent 3 hands on board the barque to get the warp attached. We towed him alright until first outside the River, when the warp parted. Skipper of the Edward Robson told me to get hold & attach ropes to the barque which we did. Together we towed him into the Humber. ( Continued on page 10 in greater detail )
